Miss Tammy Marie's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Dogs do not come any sweeter than this girl----Tammy is about 2-3 years old and weighs about 40 pounds--so she is a nice medium sized girl--she is solid black and a mix--but definitely has some heeler traits---the short tail and her general build---She gets along with any dog that she meets---prefers not to be chewed on by puppies---but who does?  She does like to bark at kittys so a non cat home would be to her liking Very sweet and agreeable---she is also a quiet girl---she is doggy door trained and a will make a wonderful companion for her lucky family--she does like company of other dogs---although she is not high energy---so another dog or a family that has a lot of time to spend with her will be great----Do not overlook this girl because she is a plan black mutt---she is Awesome !!!!

Please email inquiries to:  socoanimalrescue@comcast.net.  We look forward to hearing from you.
Alll of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.   In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs.  Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog. Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match
