Delia (delightful lap kitten's Story...
Delia is a very pretty kitty and loves to climb up in her foster mom's lap along with her siblings. This litter has been the most lap loving kittens, this foster mom has seen. She is sweet and cuddly and loves to play with toy on a string. She can jump, turn and land on her feet. I socre her a 10 on her routine! Quite the little gymnast. She is loose and floppy like a ragdoll when held. She and her siblings have been in foster care since they were tiny nursing babies. Luckily she was turned into FFR with her mom, Deidra. So she was able to continue nursing and be weaned naturally. She is socialized with other kitties and people. She has not had much exposure to dogs, but with her laid back attitude, she will adjust easily to a cat friendly dog.

She has long hair with a bit of curl to it like her mom. She has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready for adoption. If you want to meet her, come to Petsmart on Shepherd at Alabama or contact her foster mom at x1961jab@msn.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delia (delightful lap kitten, a Houston Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
