Sophie is a snow white 10lb Toy Poodle who is 1 1/2 yrs old and loves to play!
Sophie has an amazing coat, it is snow white all over not even a tinge of another color (very rare and hard to find, show quality) and absolutely beautiful, a soft cotton candy coat.
Sophie came into Toy Poodle Rescue because the little boy in her previous home was teasing her and she was protecting herself by growling back and before anything happened it was better to find Sophie a new home.
We have temperament tested Sophie up and down and cannot get her to react at all, but because of the history we will not adopt her to a home with children. Gentle teenagers who know how to behave around small dogs would be fine.
Sophie is a free spirit she doesn't have a care in the world, her day consists of playing, eating, walks, and running at a hundred miles an hour in the gardenaround and then napping. Sophie greets everyone and anyone like she knows them and is not at all shy, a total social butterfly.
Sophie loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.
Although Sophie is very young and still a puppy she is very well behaved and totally potty trained and settles down well and has excellent manners, but she is still a young Poodle with puppy like behavior. This little girl will be a wonderful companion. Sophie has been used to someone home during the day so someone who does not work or who works part time would be best.

Be home some or all of the day
No children under teenage without exception
Fenced in yard required, Sophie loves to run free
Love to go for walks and play with me
Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
