Daisy's Story...
Hello, My name is Daisy! Once upon a time I had a family.... I don't know why, but they brought me to Ms. Pat's and left. I didn't do anything wrong... I guess they just got tired of me. It makes me sad. Ms. Pat has been trying to cheer me up, and she tells me that she is going to help me find my furever home. That does give me hope... but I sure miss being a part of a family! I'm spayed, and up to date on all of my shots. I like to go on walks, and do well on a leash. I love men, women, kids, other dogs, and even cats too! Most of all I just want to have a family to love, play, and grow old with....is that you? I sure hope so!! My tail is wagging just thinking about it! Please, Hurry! I can't wait to love you! Daisy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Afton German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Afton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Afton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Afton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Afton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Afton paves the way for another one to be saved.
