My name is Mandy Magoo!

Beagle Dog for adoption in Waldorf, Maryland - Mandy Magoo

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mandy Magoo's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mandy Magoo's Story...
Mandy was one of 5 breeding female beagles dumped in the dead of night by their owner who no longer needed them. BRSM was notified of their existence on the day they were to be euthanized and miraculously (through the shelter being too busy) survived until the following day when our volunteer was able to lay claim to them. (Thank you Facebook fans who stepped up to foster!)

Mandy is outgoing and friendly with dogs and people. She's been bred several times and has not yet regained her girlish figure, but that will come with proper care.

Adoptive Status: Mandy will be spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped on July 7. She is heartworm NEGATIVE.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Mandy told us that she wants a home where she will be loved forever. She needs a fenced yard or a home where she will be leashed up and walked whenever she needs to go outside. Her nose is in good working order!

Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mandy Magoo, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
