Cody's Story...
Cody is a wonderful DEAF boy. Cody has a bit of a sad story. Poor little guy was hit by a car. His owners were not able to pay the vet bill, so the vet turned him over to the County Shelter. Infection had developed and lucky for Cody...Amazing Aussies was contacted due to his special needs. Once in our care Cody received top notch vet care and all the love from his foster family to regain the use of his leg. Cody's leg has since healed and you can see that he is relax and happy in his foster home.

Cody is a bit shy when first meeting him, but, he warms up quickly. He is neutered, micro chipped and his vaccines are up to date. He is a smaller dog at about 40-45 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Mesa Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
