Mac's Story...
This is Mac. We think that he is a 10 month old purebred Rottweiler. What a handsome fellow. Mac was temp tested and did very, very well. His notes indicated he is a quiet, gentle boy; very nice dog. Big Dog Rescue has taken him into their foster care to help him find a great home. They say that he is a very handsome fellow and playful. He does not currently play fetch and retrieve, but he loves to carry a ball around in his mouth. Ha! He is a smart fellow; he sits when asked and walks very well on a leash. Mac is located in an adoptable kennel at Big Dog Rescue. He is looking for a good home.

If you are interested in adopting or meeting Mac, the handsome young male Rottweiler, please contact Big Dog Rescue or go ahead and fill out an adoption application on their website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mac, a Tracy Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
