My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alexxa is maybe a year old, but she has had a tough life. We got her from the shelter and she had had a recent amputation, and the wound was infected (left front leg). Our vet thinks she had an accident that called for a quick sew-up job, possibly after a great loss of blood, with a proper surgery needed once she recovered. We think at that point the person just turned her out to fend for herself. So our vet removed the small piece of bone remaining, up to her shoulder, and also found dirt and grass embedded in the wound! Alexxa is all well now and EXTREMELY loving and gentle. She loves roast beef, but you'll want to watch her diet so she doesn't get fat with just 3 legs. Also, she'd do best in a one-level home with carpet -- the perfect apartment kitty, too! Our vet also said she had a broken back leg that apparently healed a long time ago. This cat deserves the life of luxury at last.
