Leggy's Story...
Hi friends:

My name is Leggy and I am a very sweet and loving neutered boy of about 7 years old. I am still young if you consider that cats can live 18-20 years so I hope I can spend the rest of my life at my forever home.

They named me Leggy because my left front leg is a little twisted and this happened because when I was a very little baby, I was rescued after they saw when I was thrown by somebody from a moving vehicle. I don´t understand why they did this to me if I was an innocent baby that had done nothing wrong. Back then the vet said there was nothing that could be done because of my small size however I can still run and walk almost as normal as any other cat.

I need to find again a loving family. I had been adopted but my mom married a man that was extremely allergic to me and she had to give me back to my foster family. I would love to have a permanent home again and have my belly rubbed. Are you the family I need?, I can be an indoor cat and spend time watching tv with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leggy, a Brownsville American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brownsville, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brownsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brownsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brownsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brownsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
