Hi Everyone,
My name is Tatum and I am a loving, housebroken and gentle bichon mix. My Dad was taken to the hospital and is not coming home and I have not had a mom for a while. I had been a loving and loyal companion for eight years – and now I am alone. I love to ride in the car, go for walks and take long happy naps. Before Dad went away he used to tell everyone how very sweet, lovable and smart I was – and am!
When I found myself being dropped off at the shelter, things were very confusing for me.
After living in a home, being outside in the cold was pretty scary for a little guy like
me. I stopped eating and was becoming more and more afraid. That’s when Bichon FurKids
brought me into a foster home where I have lots of doggy brothers and sisters, as well as meeting my foster mom’s cats (I can’t quite figure them out) and am learning about birds, too.
What I want more than anything in the world is a family to love and spend time with. I’m not a high maintenance guy – I am mellow and just happy to be near someone I love. Although I am only eight, I do have a cataract in one eye so I have to be a bit careful when I go out – but I navigate and get around just fine. Bichon FurKids is checking into whether I am a candidate for surgery -as the volunteers like me SOOOO much!
