Jilly's Story...
Fuji (formerly known as Jillie) is such a sweet Chihuahua/ Shiba Inu mix, a few months old and currently about 8 lbs (but she will probably be closer to 14 lbs when full grown). She came into the shelter with a cherry eye that we have fixed, and she is now ready for a forever home. Fuji is such a loving girl who loves to play and snuggle. She likes all dogs and is friendly with all people. Fuji will make a wonderful family pet and a perfect little companion. Poor Fuji thought she had found her forever home with a wonderful person. But sadly, he had to return her because he ended up being allergic. If you would like more information on Fuji please go to our website and fill out an application. someone will be with you shortly - www.dogswithoutborders.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jilly, a Encino Chihuahua/Shiba Inu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Shiba Inu for sale in Encino, or seeking a Chihuahua/Shiba Inu puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Chihuahua/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
