Fiona's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Fiona's Story...
Fiona is a purebred Lhaso Apso, just 4 years old, and 13 lbs. Her previous owners said they had no time for her : (. She has lived with small children, but would be right at home as an adult companion. Not used to attention, so she's a bit shy at first. A few kind words, or a treat, and she's your best buddy. Fiona is at the groomer's now, pictures coming soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a New Fairfield Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in New Fairfield, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in New Fairfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Fairfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Fairfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Fairfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
