Cocoa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cocoa's Story...
Cocoa was found as a stray and taken to animal control. She had scars on her back that appear to be burn marks, however those are now healed and they don't seem to bother her. Cocoa is between 1 - 2 years old and is very playful and sweet. She would make somebody a wonderful family dog - she even loves to play soccer! She is great with dogs and kids alike. Please consider Cocoa for your family's pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Rio Rancho Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Rio Rancho, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Rio Rancho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rio Rancho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rio Rancho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rio Rancho paves the way for another one to be saved.
