Ruff Ruff! My name is foster a boxer
foster a boxer's Info...
|Size:||Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)||Sex:||Female||ID#:||91251|
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.
The dogs shown in this picture are not up for adoption. They are part of the Almost Home Rescue program. Can you believe that they were found at one of the high-kill shelters?! They were rescued and lived in foster homes until we could find a new family for them. These babies have been adopted - but we still need your help!
We are in desperate need of quality families to temporarily care for boxers waiting for their forever homes. Currently, we are having to turn dogs away from our program because we have nowhere for them to go. This could ultimately mean these dogs will be put to sleep. Fostering a boxer is a truly rewarding experience - please open your door, and your heart, to a boxer in need. Our fosters get 'first dibs' on our adoptable dogs!
If you cannot foster and have a crate you'd like to donate, please let us know! We can use it to save a life!
Please see our Foster Home page at http://www.almosthomeboxers.org/foster.htm for more infomation and how to apply!
Not ready to adopt me? How would you like to be my sponsor?! Your donation can help take some of my cousins off the street, treat their wounds and heal their hearts. Please think about a tax-deductible donation today!

Rescue Group Info...
We are a private, volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, neglected, and abandoned pets. We specialize in boxers, but for the perfect home we can help you find the perfect pet, or point you to a rescue who can. We provide food, shelter, medical attention, and TLC during our rescues wait for the "RIGHT" forever home.
All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout the valley - we do not have a shelter that you can visit. Once you submit an application, your references are checked and the home visit is complete, we will contact you to set up a satisfactory meeting place for a get-together with your potential adoptive pet.
Our dogs are cared for in foster homes during this wait. We try to have them in a foster home environment for at least 2 weeks. They are temperament tested to the best of our ability to ensure a perfect match into their new home. Our number one concern is for the safety of the adoptive family and the happiness of the pet. We strive for a FOREVER placement - not all dogs are perfect for all families. We don't want to place "A" dog in your home - we want to place "THE" dog for your family!
We can't save every dog but we can make a difference...one dog at a time!
We are desperately seeking foster homes for our wonderful dogs! We also accept used crates or donations of any kind!
Please contact us about a specific pet - we do not have a shelter facility. All pets are in foster homes around the state of Arizona.
We prefer e-mail to cut down on cell phone minute usage! Once an application is submitted, it is reviewed, references are checked, and a home visit is done. If approved, we will contact you about the dog you are interested in. We want to place these dogs with the "RIGHT" families so it may take a bit to find that dog for you, please be patient.
