My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shanyia – is another very beautiful blond labbie girl found in a high-kill shelter. Shanyia was placed in a high kill shelter by her family who complained that she kept going over to the neighbor's house. Any loving dog owner would not have had a problem figuring out how to keep this from happening, but Shanyia's family didn't take the necessary steps. She is of average size weighing about 55 to 60 lbs and has the sweetest personality ever. We guess Shanyia as being about 3 years old. Shanyia is very people-oriented. She loves attention, giving kisses, belly rubs, and being a part of whatever her family is doing. Her foster family has four children (the youngest of which is 3 years old) and she has been wonderful with all of them. She gets along great with her four-legged foster siblings also. Shanyia is a low to medium energy girl. One of her favorite things to do is curl up beside her foster mom for some TV after the kids have gone to bed. Shania really does not like going in a crate, but she has been left loose in the house for short periods of time (up to 4 hours) while her family has been away without getting into anything. She is loose at night as well and has been good as gold sleeping on a doggie bed.
Shanyia is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
