Poppy's Story...
Poppy is a special needs friendly neutered male & was found as a stray July 2008. He probably was dumped by his owner possibly due to some medical issues & is a special needs feline that is diabetic & requires getting a daily insulin shot.
He is a really a friendly wonderful fellow & really needs a caring person to adopt him.
Up-Date on Medical issues as of Aug. 2011-Poppy has recently been diagnosed as Diabetic & requires daily insulin shots. As if this poor fellow hasn't gone thru enough he needs a Kind Soul who knows how to deal with a diabetic feline.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are just a small group of people who volunteer our time & money because we believe that these animals deserve to be in a loving home with someone who will care for them. We need to be a voice for these animals who cannot speak for themselves & if they could this is what they would say.
"I ask for the privilege of not being born...not to be born until you can assure me of a home & a master to protect me, and a right to live as long as I am physically able to enjoy life...not to be born until my body is precious & people have ceased to exploit it because it is cheap & plentiful."

Adoptions are by appointment & you can call for information regarding any of our felines. All felines can be seen in the South Elgin, IL area, some are in foster homes & a few even are forced to live outside. Monday to Sunday from Noon to 5 P.M. by appointment. Our Adoption Process...
Since we are not an actual "Shelter" & only a rescue org. there in no set adoption fees & are on a donation basis.
We do require references, & a possible home visit, etc.
We want to make sure they will go to a loving & caring home.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
I have been rescuing animals all of my life & mostly just felines in Kane County in Illinois area for over 30 years. I began doing TNR (Trap Neuter Release) but have found that many of these felines had been abandoned & even abused leaving many that needed to be adopted into a loving home & can't survive living outside as a feral feline. I am now unable to continue rescuing animals as the result of serious health issues & am forced to desperately find good homes for all of our felines. We also are in need of volunteers & foster homes & of course Donations to help with the expenses of caring for all of these rescued felines which has put me deeply in debt. We are also unable to take owner relinquished animals. I'm praying for a Kind Soul that maybe able to help us & also find loving homes for all of our rescued felines also waiting for that Kind soul to come along & take them to their forever home. Sadly, It has been a very long Heart Breaking & stressful journey caring for so many of God's Furry Creatures.
