My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Felix and Fiona are frisky, friendly, fun-loving, feisty, and in the case of Fiona—extra furry! This adorable brother/sister pair was born in April 2011. They are looking for a home where they can have lots of room to romp, toys to play with and laps to sit in.

Felix is a sleek, shorthaired tuxedo boy, who loves his sister and lets her boss him around. Although he’s bigger, Felix is a bit more shy and needs Fiona nearby to boost his confidence. He loves being groomed with the red rubber brush, although he does an excellent job of keeping himself looking immaculate at all times. In addition to his pristine little white gloves and socks, and stunning green eyes, he has white whiskers and even white ear tufts—talk about the perfect accessories!

Fiona is a gorgeous little fluff ball of a tortie. Look at those “eyebrows” and that adorable white corner under her chin! She is soft as a cotton ball, and has great long tufts in her ears, but fortunately her fur is the kind which stays silky and doesn’t mat or tangle. She enjoys being combed and will need regularly grooming as she grows up.

Although both of them are purr monsters, Fiona actually has the bigger motor of the two. She is a lap girl and will happily curl up and gaze at you with those soulful eyes while you give her a comb-out and massage. Felix isn’t quite so comfortable being held, but he’s growing into it and will probably develop into a lap guy too, as he grows older. Mostly he just wants to be around Fiona and do what she’s doing.

Felix and Fiona spend many hours of the day playing together, and when they run out of steam, they like to have a little snack, do some bird-watching from their window perch, then curl up for a nap. They were separated briefly after a vet visit and Felix was very unhappy until they were reunited, so we know they need to always be together in their permanent home.

Felix and Fiona, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Felix and Fiona, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
