Sally's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sally's Story...
Sally and her litter mate, Harry, are the cutest and feistiest puppies. They are full of energy and are true Terriers, no fear. They stand up to the 85# labs in their foster home. They love to play and sleep together, but do not need to be adopted together.

Harry and Sally are rescued puppies. They are 12 weeks old, DOB 4-12-11. Sally weighs just over 5# and Harry weighs almost 7#. They have had their first vaccination. If you wish to adopt both, we will need to discuss this once we receive your application.

With the adoption you receive 30 days of free pet health insurance from ShelterCare. If you live in Hays, Travis or Williamson County WAG Rescue will provide a voucher for spay or neuter and micro chipping through Emancipet in Austin.

Please go to our website and complete an application, www.wimberleywagrescue.org. Applications are considered in the order in which they are received. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Wimberley Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Wimberley, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Wimberley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wimberley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wimberley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wimberley paves the way for another one to be saved.
