My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED! UPDATE: Jan. 13, 2007:
Sparky is such a cutie pie! He has the most crinkly little face and he is so expressive! His tail never stops wagging! Sparky has come a long way from the emaciated stray we found along the roadside! He now has wonderful house manners, is house trained and crate trained. He is such a sweetie who loves to cuddle and be loved. Sparky is great with kids and people. He is a riot to watch with stuffies. He tosses them in the air and can play by himself for quite some time. (He also likes to play with you and his stuffies!) He is so funny when he chases his tail! Sparky has such a loving nature. He has learned about the cats, and now instead of chasing them, he lets them rub up against him! When he rides in the car, he loves to put his head on your shoulder. :) Sparky is very smart and learns things quickly! Because of the difference in size between Sparky and most of the other dogs here, he sometimes has to be separated. He does not always want to go into his crate, but if you tell him he must, he goes willingly. He is such a good boy! Although he gets along ok with most male dogs, Sparky would be better with another female dog, as he harbors memories of a bad incident with a male dog. He is up to date on shots, and neutered. Poor Sparky gets overlooked here in the land of the giants. He will make someone (you?) a terrific new family member!

Nov. 11, 2006: Sparky is an adorable little guy with cute little ears and a wrinkled brow. He was found as a stray and had absolutely no house manners at all. He has come a long way since the day he was rescued. He's housebroken, crate-trained, and healthy. He learned his "house skills" very quickly and has a strong desire to please (and he's very smart!). He has gone from a dog living on his own to living in a pack with 14 other dogs and is doing really well. He loves adults, children, dogs, and cats. Sparky is a fairly high energy dog, and would do best in a home with lots of energy too! Please contact us if you are interested in adopting Sparky.
