Rio's Story...

Rio had been wandering the neighborhood for several months.  At first he was very scared and would only be seen in the early morning or late at night.  A good Samaritan began putting food out for him and talking to him.  Pretty soon he was coming regularly to get his breakfast and dinner.  Finally he began talking to his human friend and it became evident that he was a friendly cat that had lost his home.  Soon after that, Rio approached his new friend and began to rub and purr.  It seemed like he just couldn't get close enough; he had missed human contact so much and he wanted all the attention he could get.  Rio is a young cat with a very affectionate personality.  He is intelligent and very responsive and will carry on a conversation with you.  He is full of energy and is very active.  He loves to play with his buddies and there willl never be a dulll moment with Rio around.  Rio is looking forward to having a home and special person again.  He is currently in a Foster Home.  Call Betty at 757-722-0862 if you would like to meet Rio.
