My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Socks. Can you guess why? I am sister to Sugar Baby, also on this site. I was born March 26th, so, as of today, I am just a tiny bit over 3 months old. My rescue angel found my mama lying in a field off a country road, and she was giving birth to me and to my brothers and sisters. A rain storm was forecast for that evening, and so Ms Linda knew she had to rescue us. I'm so thankful she did, but now my mama (a beautiful and sweet black lab) and most of my sisters and brothers are adopted. I want my very own forever home too. I am spayed (I think that means I won't ever be a mama), and I have had 4 sets of those prickly things called vaccinations. I act like a big girl and deal with it, because Ms Linda says these prickly things help me stay well. I'm all about staying well! Ms Linda brags to everyone about how sweet I am, but what she talks about the most is how smart I am because I let her know when I need to go outside to potty. I catch on very quickly. Although I'm so happy at Ms Linda's, she says she is going to find an even better home, a FUREVER home, just for me. I want to remind you that puppies like me require a lot of one on one time to learn socialization and manners. After all, my foster home is the first and only real home I have ever had, and Ms Linda has to share her time with my sisters and other foster friends. Coming to your house will be my first time away from littermates and other doggie friends. Although I'm friendly and bouncy here, I may cry or seem scared or shy when I first come to your house. Pups like me need someone who has the patience and time to spend in obedience training and then taking what we learn and applying it with leash walking, house training, crate training, and socialization. I need a lot of exercise, because I grow so fast. I prefer you have a fenced in yard but if not, that is okay as long as you have a plan for my outside exercise routine. Thank you for taking this into consideration; I am after all a baby. But, I am a fast learner and I will love you forever for helping me to be the very best i can be. I want to make you very proud of me. If you would like for my FUREVER home to be YOUR home, please contact Ms Linda at HLM500@aol.com or Ms Diana at dmoore2003@bellsouth.com. . PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THESE PUPS ARE RESCUES, THEIR BREED MIX AND BIRTHDATES MAY BE UNKNOWN, BUT WITH THE HELP OF OUR VET WE MAKE THE BEST EDUCATED GUESS.
