I am believed to be part Nova Scotia Duck Tolling dog and maybe part Golden. I am definitely a water type dog with webbed toes and a rudder for a tail.
I am approximately 6 to 8 months old, so I am still a puppy and will need a family who will be patient and kindly teach me all the things a good dog like me should know. I am almost potty trained, and when I do have an accident it is on the patio or by the front door - so I have the idea - just have to get my timing down.
I will be about 40 - 50 lbs when full grown. I am a mellow sort of boy. I enjoy a good round of play with the other dogs at my foster home, and I like the long walks my foster mom takes me on, but I am not out of control energetic. With a good round of play and a nice walk, I am content to curl up and take a nap or lie around and watch what you are up to. I also really enjoy my doggie playmates, especially my best friend Rodney and it would be nice to have a home with a big yard and another dog to keep me company when you have to be away.
I love my humans and will want to be with you wherever you are. Do you like to love on dogs? I like to love on humans and will sit and let you pet me all day and cuddle and give kisses if allowed. I have found I like to sleep on the bed with my human, but I also do fine with a nice soft doggie bed.
