Demi's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Demi's Story...
Beautiful Demi and her Brat Pack family (Ally, Molly, Judd, and Anthony Michael) were living in a back yard, where they were being neglected in the 100+ degree heat. Neighborhood dogs would frequent the yard, where they antagonized and attacked this sweet young family. Even the neighborhood stray cats ganged up on them and, as a result, Demi has bite wound injuries and Feline Leukemia. Please contact Tenth Life (info@tenthlifecats.org) for more information on the special needs of this little family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Demi, a St. Louis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
