Mabel LOVES tubs and having conversations with her human. She takes a while to trust as well (which is why she wasn't adopted as a kitten, though she is better now than she was then), but once she does, she will ask to be picked up, will put her paws around your neck and purr passionately into your chin. Other times, she's so quiet it easy to forget she's even there. So when she suddenly "Meeps" at you as you walk by (often reaching out with her paw to tap your arm for emphasis) it can be a surprise. If you say "hi" back, she'll speak again. Then your turn. Then her turn. And so on until one of you gets bored. Other times, she can be found lying upside down on her back in the tub in her Bathtub Zen pose. She gets along with other cats (but large numbers start to stress her out) and dogs.
