Gabby's Story...
Gabby is one gorgeous gal! She's about 2 yr old, and has the kindest face! She gets along with other dogs, and would be an excellent addition to your family!Gabby is a very smart, easy to train young lady. She gets along with all but very Alpha dogs, and she is very gentle with dogs who are smaller than she is. Gabby is very friendly, but will let you know if a stranger is on the property. She would like to be a house dog, but is OK with a nice warm dog house and a 10 x 20 kennel, provided that she gets out to run for a while every day.

Act quickly to adopt Gabby. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Harrodsburg English Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Pointer for sale in Harrodsburg, or seeking a English Pointer dog from a breeder in Harrodsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrodsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrodsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Pointer breeders who help with English Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrodsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
