NINA's Story...
Please contact Madalin ( for more information about this pet.

Nina is a spectacular dog. Super smart and very gentle, she has a fabulous temperament,  with a lot of unique little quirks. For example, when she is really happy to see you, her ears wiggle. She does seem to have a bit of wanderlust, but she would be quite happy as a part of the family.  You would just have to be mindful of her tendancy to wander and keep her safe and happy at home with lots of fun walks.

As always, before adopting a dog, research the breed to help ensure that it will meet both your expectations and lifestyle.  To get you started, here is some of what you can read on

The Chow Chow is a well-mannered dog. Quite good with children. Chow Chows who believe they are boss will often be a one-person dog, very loyal to their master, though he may act reserved, even with them. The exact origin of the Chow Chow is unknown, but we do know that it is a very old breed. The oldest known dog fossils, dated back to several million years ago, are very similar in structure to the Chow Chow. Pictures on Chinese pottery which looked like the Chow Chow date back as far back as 206 BC.

About Used Dogs

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small boutique rescue in New Orleans. We not only re-home abandoned dogs, but we work to keep pets in their current homes through consultations and training. Don't give up your dog without give us a chance to help you keep it!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We set up private meets by appointment seven days a week. We also hold adoption events on the third Saturday of each month at Petcetera on Magazine Street in uptown New Orleans.

Our Adoption Process...

Our goal is to match the right dog with the right person. If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please e-mail us and we will send an adoption application. A phone interview will follow and then we will set up a meet. All adoption fees are applied to the care and upkeep of our rescue dogs.
