Cheyenne's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING!!
Cheyenne is a super-friendly shepherd mix with lots of puppy playfulness. She quite likely has some of the North Carolina state dog, the plott hound, in the mix, and our vet said she thought there was boxer in there somewhere too. She's just an adorable mix! Cheyenne is only about 8 months old and will continue to grow, we think probably filling out in the 45 lb range. Her coat is soooo soft and easy to manage. She's an independent little thing and is learning there is a time to turn off that puppy playfulness and charm :). She's smart as can be and is learning the rules quickly although she is not too keen about getting in her kennel - she'd much rather stay out and play!! She is wonderful with all of our other dogs. They are all bigger than she is, but she keeps up with them and loves to just roll and run and play with everybody! We don't have any small children but we think she'd do wonderfully with kids of all ages.
Cheyenne is spayed and current on all vaccines. She is on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Please contact us at cedarfarm@yadtel.net if you'd like more information or an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheyenne, a Mocksville Dutch Shepherd/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Boxer for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Boxer dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Boxer breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
