Nelly's Story...
Nelly is a delightful and affectionate little Bichon born around January 2010. She loves to snuggle with her foster people but is also a lively, active young lady. Nelly enjoys playing with other dogs and is even friendly with cats. She loves exploring in the backyard and going for walks. A quiet girl, Nelly rarely barks and is very gentle and intelligent. She is learning very quickly how to be clean in the house and is eager to please. Nelly would make a wonderful companion for a family or a single person with whom she could share love! Could that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nelly, a Rigaud Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
