Cortney's Story...
"Let me introduce myself...my name is Cortney. They say I have a really sweet face (check it out!) and I have really big, cute ears! I'm a dainty gal, with dancer legs. They say I could be a ballerina!! I was brought here beause my owner had too many pets and I got the short straw. I love going for walks and walk very nicely on the leash. I would be easy to take care of because my hair is short, and being small, I would not take up very much room. I love to snuggle and I think it might be a very good idea if you would come by to get to know me. Help me make my dreams come true for a new forever home with you. Love, Cortney. Ask to visit with me in the Doggie Play Yard. I'm in kennel # 9.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cortney, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
