Memphis's Story...
Sure to make you smile.

Memphis is a sweet and playful 11-week-old Black Lab Mix who was surrendered by his owner. He may be small now, but those big paws are a good indication that he will be a big guy. Like all puppies, he is working on his housebreaking, and learning basic manners and leash walking skills. He enjoys playing with other dogs, swimming and getting dirty running around in the yard. He is a very smart boy, and would excel in a puppy training class as he is responding quickly to his training here.

Memphis is neutered and microchipped, and will be available for adoption once he has had all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Memphis, a Norwalk Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
