Hi! My name is Petunia. I was found wandering the countryside in rural Tennessee. I'm only 6 weeks old and am full of personality already! I'm learning that humans aren't all so bad....... my first humans dumped me on the side of the road. Naughty! I'm ok now, I'm in a safe place, getting lots of good food, toys and loving! I'll be spayed soon and then I can go home with you!

I would really like a family to call my own and a warm bed, some toys and maybe a litle boy or girl to call my own. Won't you be my family? To adopt Petunia, please complete our foster/adopt application at www.barkaritaville.org and the big dawgs will get back to ya in two shakes of a puppy's tail!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia-Adopted, a Sterling Heights Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
