Heaven's Story...
Heaven is the only daughter of Skye, a grey calico momma who was surrendered to PAWS in April 2011, just 6 days prior to giving birth to four adorable kittens. Since Heaven has spent her whole life in a home based foster, she is very people, cat and dog friendly. Her whispy hair must be from her daddy's side because her mom is a shorthair. Heaven is a very sweet, normal little kitten - very curious, energetic and playful. Heaven needs an indoor only home with an owner who doesn't mind long hair and is willing to brush her as needed to keep her keep her coat clean and tangle free. If you are looking to add a "little bit of Heaven" into your life, come by and meet her - she'll win your heart.
Heaven is currently in the Adoption Center in the PetSmart at N Rockwell and NW Expressway. Please drop by and get acquainted during normal business hours. All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).

The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heaven, a Oklahoma City Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
