Meow! My name is Skeffington
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Black & White Or Tuxedo||Age:||Adult|
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.
Skeffington is a wonderful little tuxedo who is rather independent and a bit quirky at times. She was found (or rather found us!) in Amberley Village and immediately showed that she was a special cat. She would sit for hours every day looking in the windows at the cats inside the house. Her rescuer finally determined she had no home and brought Skefington in. Skeffington is pretty much a loner. She gets along well with most cats, but generally just ignores them and acts as if they don't exist. She is affectionate with people and can be rather playful when she wants to be. She is about 6 years old, spayed, vaccinated, etc. Her physical health is very good but Skeffington can become frightened easily and shows a fear towards some people, especially women. Her new home will need to be free of dogs and small children and her family will have to need to have patience and understanding. Skeffington will reward you with frequent leg rubs, purrs and entertainment as she runs around the house chasing toys and imaginary prey.
The adoption fee for this cat is $75. An approved application is required. Adoption forms and policies can be found here www.cat-adoption.org

Rescue Group Info...
Cincinnati Cats is not a shelter, but a group of individuals who rescue and care for abandoned, stray and feral cats from our homes. For more information on Cincinnati Cats, please visit the Cincinnati Cats homepage at www.cincinnati-cats.org.
Cincinnati Cats Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping cats and helping those individuals who help cats.
All adoptions require the approval of an application, interview of the prospective adopting family, an adoption fee and signed contract. While this may seem extreme to some people wishing to adopt a cat, please realize that our rescuers have invested a lot of time and hundreds of dollars in preparing the cat for adoption. Their rescue efforts are a labor of love and every effort is made to see that there will be a good match for both the cat and the person or family adopting it.
