Carla's Story...
Meet Carla. Dont let a few gray hairs fool you. 8 year old Carla still has lots of life to live. She happily tried her best to jump into the back of my SUV, and only needed a little bit of help to succeed. As soon as Carla loses a couple of the extra pounds she is carrying around, she will be bouncing everywhere she goes. She is an excellent passenger in the car and gives her gentle kisses quite freely. If you have room in your home for this young-at-heart senior, please fill out our on-line adoption application.

If you are interested in adopting from our organization please complete our Adoption Application. It is the first step toward bringing home your new family member.

NOTE: We do not adopt outside only dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carla, a Las Vegas German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
