Wilke (m) & Willow (f)'s Story...
Wilke and Willow are available from a foster home in La Porte, TX. From his foster mom: "Wilke is a 5.5 year old standard and a big boy. He tries to avoid being picked up but once you have him, he is a real cuddle bug. He will let me hold him as long as I want. He also actually lets me pet him too. Willow is a 1.5 year old ebony. She is a calm girl once you pick her up but will only tolerate being held for short periods. During playtime they both spend most of their time climbing all over me. They are very friendly and outgoing." Wilke and Willow are a bonded pair and must stay together. Wilke has been neutered and Willow is on a pregnancy watch until mid-November. They are available before then to an experienced home only. An approved cage and exercise wheel are required and a donation of $150 is requested as an adoption fee. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilke (m) & Willow (f), a La Porte Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in La Porte, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in La Porte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Porte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Porte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Porte paves the way for another one to be saved.
