Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Max. I'm a 15 inch beagle boy looking for a forever home. I am very lucky to be with Brew. I was what you would call a stray. Somehow I got lost; I'm not sure if I wondered off or if my family simply left me along the road. For three months I wondered form house to house. The people were kind hearted and left food out for me, but I didn't trust anyone so I never let them catch me. One day I found some food in a strange looking dog box. When I went to get the food the door went shut and I was trapped. It turned out I was tricked into being caught! I was really afraid of what would happen to me, but everyone was really nice. They gave me a bath and a good meal. They petted me and took me for walks and for the first time in a long time I felt like I was loved.
Now I live in a foster home with five other dogs. We have lots of fun playing and going for walks. I am house trained, I ride well in the car and I never chew things that don't belong to me. I need a quiet home with a human who likes to go for walks and spend time petting me. I am still a little leery of strangers but after I meet them and I know they will be nice to me I warm up fast. If you would like more information about me just ask the folks at Brew.
