Harley's Story...
Hi there! I’m Harley, and I am a fun fun fun boy! I am 9 years young, and I found myself in the pound when my owner had to go to a nursing home. Young at Heart took me in, and boy, I am a happy guy! I’m so happy that I will toss my toys into the air to entertain myself when you’re too busy to play with me. I’m a typical happy-go-lucky lab mix, and enjoy life immensely. I get along very well with dogs and cats, and I love children, too. I am completely housebroken and would love a fenced-in yard. I’m not the greatest in the car, only because I always want to be the first one out the door, so I would do best riding in a harness and seat belt! I love going to the dog park, and going for walks. I’m an all around great, healthy guy, and I can’t wait to find my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Palatine Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
