Teddy's Story...
Teddy and Lucy were surrendered to the shelter because of a move by the owners. Lucy is a female, brown poodle and Teddy is a white, male poodle, both just under a year old. They are together in a kennel at the shelter and would like to remain together if possible. Lucy is more timid and Teddy a little less scared. These tiny dogs are totally lost at the shelter and scared to death. They are very loving and gentle dogs. Even though they are in a new and strange environment, they continue to react positively and gently to strangers. Come meet this dynamic duo today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Council Bluffs Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Council Bluffs, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Council Bluffs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Council Bluffs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Council Bluffs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Council Bluffs paves the way for another one to be saved.
