Shena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Shena's Story...
Shena is very timid, loud noises and quick movements frighten her. As she builds her trust in you, these reactions are lessened. She also will follow you wherever you go. She just wants to be near and to be loved. Shena was not handled much. Her winter coat was intact even in July.

Shena weighs only about 22 lbs. It is hard to tell her breed. She looks like a small German Shepherd. She has had puppies so the vets believe she may be around 3 years old. She craves love and attention. If you could provide these, please call 937-764-0406 or 937-466-2840 or email mjespelage@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shena, a Hillsboro Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
