These two beautiful boys were rescued by a chin lover who found them listed for sale and in terrible shape! They were kept as "breeders" in a tiny, single level cage with one female. The original owner had no clue that chinchillas require dust baths or that the boys would fight to the death over the female once they reached maturity.
Fortunately, the chinchilla community rose up and intervened before it was too late. The boys have been separated from the female for a month now and get along beautifully. They are available for adoption as a bonded pair only and will not be split.
