My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is GiGi. For about 3 years, I lived in a place called a puppy mill. I don't understand hugs and kisses yet. I am fearful when people pick me up because prior to this, I was stuck in a crate only to be scruffed and thrown into another cage when things got to dirty. I never knew there was such a thing called TREATS AND DOG BONES! I also didn't know that vets could clean your teeth.

THEN on July 9, I was put in a van with a bunch of other little dogs and was brought to this place called Kentucky. I didn't know what to think. Suddenly, people were talking nice to me, feeding me great food and they gave me a name!

My foster mom says that I will be a great companion for a family that has a quieter situation. I love other dogs and cats but I am unsure of people. My foster mom and dad seem nice and I wag my tail at them but I am scared to let them pick me up. Once they pick me up and put me on the couch, I enjoy it! I am starting to get used to hugs and kisses and now, I stay still for my foster mom to pick me up and hug me. I would never bite but I am still frightened.

My foster mom said she will find a perfect forever home for me. She is looking for a homeowner who has a stellar vet and groomer reference. Fencing will be discussed as in many cases, people live in condos and don't have a fence. She will consider no-fence clients but she will call and talk to you about how you are going to exercise and let me go potty.

If you are my forever family, please get your application in so we have grow old together! Love and kisses, GiGI
