Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Spots's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Spots's Story...
Spots is a beautiful 4 month old, male, Australian Shepherd. He is a very happy, playful puppy and loves all people and other dogs. He would do best in a home with another dog and a backyard.
He’s doing great on house training, he lets you know he needs to go outside. Such a super smart boy and will be easy to train for more obedience!
We're working on getting a better photo if he can sit still for a minute.(this was taken while he was sleeping).
Spots is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines and micro-chipped.
Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
An adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.
To receive an application Contact Death Row Dogs Rescue at deathrowdogsrescue@earthlink.net or (818) 380-1219

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spots, a Van Nuys Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
