Oscar's Story...
Hello I'm Oscar, and lucky for you no one claimed me so I'm up for adoption. I am full of puppy energy, but also love to just sit and be petted. I would love a forever home where I can run around and have fun. Then after I'm worn out from that I would like someone that would let me sit in their lap or near them and pet me. I'm learning how to walk on a leash, so maybe I could be your walking partner. That would be another way to get some of my puppy energy off. If you think you could give me a forever home please contact Ashley at ace_04@live.com or Linda at s.hoefing@mchsi.com. You can also call Linda's phone at 712-246-3236. They are willing to travel to find me the best forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Shenandoah Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Shenandoah, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Shenandoah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shenandoah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shenandoah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shenandoah paves the way for another one to be saved.
