Susie Q's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Susie Q's Story...
Susie Q is a lovely little gal :) She's got that puppy face that will never go away. When our rescue pulled Susie, we were told she was a 5 month old Pit Bull puppy. And from her looks, we agreed. However, upon getting her to us we found out she's an almost year old Whippet/APBT mix!
SusieQ gets along beautifully with all the dogs & cats she has met. She loves all people and will smother you with kisses if you let her. She's great on a leash and is crate/house trained. She would be great in an apartment, and/or for someone who wants a Pit Bull but has breed restrictions.
At all of 18 pounds, SusieQ meets weight restrictions for most places. She is Current on all vaccines and will be spayed/microchipped prior to adoption :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie Q, a Tampa Whippet/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Whippet/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Whippet/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
