Tweety's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Tweety's Story...
Tweety is an adorable, playful, loving 5 mo. old kitten. Tweety is listed as special needs because she broke her leg in a spot that could not be repaired, so it was amputated. It is the left hind leg that has been amputated. She gets around like nothing ever happened - it is amazing to me that she does as well as she does. She should always be an indoor cat, not subjected to young children who don't understand her problem, nor to dogs until you can be sure they get along well together. As her name implies, she is a real sweet heart. To learn more about her, call: 502-599-9395

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tweety, a Jeffersonville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jeffersonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Jeffersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jeffersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jeffersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jeffersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
