My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAXARONI… Golden Retriever, male, 2 years old. This young man was surrendered to us by his family who just were unable to really care for him due to financial reasons and living situations. He is a sweetheart and very well mannered. He knows basic commands, is housebroken and just loves everyone (especially those who will give him a belly rub). He is good with other dogs of a good temperament and so far has been “curious” with cats but has shown no real aggression. He never really got to play with other animals so he is learning social skills and doing quite well. This is a super nice dog who will make a wonderful companion and/or family dog. He’s a bit nervous at first but then he is a great guy. Maxaroni is an escape artist and will need an owner who will be very aware of this. He is neutered, tested negative for Lyme / Heartworm, Rabies and Distemper are current and he has been wormed. He really is a very loving, handsome boy !!
