Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Orson. I used to be called Buster, but that name just didn't "fit". I am the first Basset Hound rescued by AZBHR in the year 2007. I think that this will be a great New Year for me. I am a very handsome, very LARGE 4 year old boy. I have a very large bark to go with my big body but I try not to be a nuisance with it. My paws are bigger than my foster mom's clenched fists, and trust me, she has big hands. My head probably weighs 20 pounds all by itself.
When I first came to my foster home I didn't know about stairs or doggie doors. Now, after 3 whole days, I am an expert at both. My foster mom says I am a very smart boy. I love grown ups, but I would love to play with kids 10 or over. With my size I am a bit too rough for little ones. I get along great with other dogs, but don't know what a cat is, so I am not sure if I would like them or not. I am in good health, but my foster mom says I am too skinny and could use at least another 10 to 20 pounds.
Wouldn't you like to adopt my skinny self and watch me fill out with your love and good food and treats? I promise I'll love you forever.
