- BACKGROUND:

Dixie, 2 years old, 45 lbs, heart worm negative, sadly someone chopped off Dixies ears but please do not judge her on a humans mistake, she is such a sweet girl. Dixie is only 2 years old and her past owners made sure she had a litter before they gave her up. A puppy having puppies--but now she can have her own family and enjoy life. Dixie, loves attention, leans into you for love and pets, wiggles with happiness, happy and friendly, people oriented, responsive, smart girl, knows the command sit, playful, loves toys, well mannered, enjoys exploring the play yard and when she is done shes all about the people, loves human contact, okay being handled, bouncy, frolics, moderate energy level, affectionate, a great companion for a family where she is an important part of the family. Dixie remained patient when she was at the shelter but still remained calm and patient in her kennel, she patiently waited for you to open her door and loves when people stopped by to say hello. Now in her own foster home where she loves her rescue friends--and plays ball and loves to swim. "Dixie is fine with male and female dogs--just wants to play. Dixie is calm and you always wonder what she is thinking---an older soul of a mother--but lots of fun when her squirrel friend arrives every morning challenging her to climb the tree--Dixie loves to swim and now can play ball with the best of them--She is sweet to everyone---Please contact milne7896@comcast.net
