Meow! My name is Winnie
|Breed:||Domestic Longhair||Color:||Black (All)||Age:||Adult|
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Winnie and Churchill are sister and brother, and have always been together. Churchill is the protector and will bravely position himself between his sister and danger. He kept her safe when they were on their own. They are wonderful cats with long shiny black fur and are as beautiful as they are sweet. As you might expect, they play extremely well together.
They were rescued from an area close to a heavily travelled road. They were left to fend for themselves as young kittens after one of their owners died and the other was placed in a nursing home.
They try to be brave, but are a little timid with new people at first. They are absolute lap kittens, and cry to be picked up and petted, and purr constantly when they are.
She has tested negatived for feline leukemia and FIV. She is up to date with all her shots. Winnie requires a home where she will never be declawed or allowed to go outside.
If you would like to find out more about adopting this wonderful little kitten, please call Cari at 571-408-9626. Note that we answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.

Rescue Group Info...
Shadow Cat Advocates exists to provide assistance to all the abandoned and forgotten cats and kittens that live all around us. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations to our organization are deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses. Without volunteers, our mission would be meaningless. We are looking for additional volunteers. Are you willing to foster a cat for a short period, become a caretaker, help trap, or assist in one of our fundraising event? Shoot us an email as any help you can offer will be met with a huge THANK YOU! Be sure to go to our web site to find out more about our organization: www.shadowcatadvocates.org
We do not have a “store front” as all fostering is done in a home environment. To schedule an appointment to visit the cats or kittens, please give us a call at (571) 408-9626.
Adoption fees vary based on the veterinary care the cat has received prior to adoption. We will do a vet check to make sure the pet(s) you have currently or previously in your home have received adequate and yearly veterinary visits. A lifetime care contract and home visit are part of the adoption process.
