Ava's Story...
Hi , I'm Ava. I get very happy and wiggly when I hang out with my foster dad. I really like playing and romping around the yard. Going for walks around the block is one of my favorite things to do too. It wasn't too long ago that I couldn't do these things because I had a badly broken rear leg that has been repaired with a plate and 10, yep, 10 screws. While I was recuperating from that I found out my knees needed some surgery as well. All that is behind me now and I'm getting stronger every day. I'm rarin' to go and make up for lost time! I'm learning to be good on a leash and have learned sit, down and stay also. I'm house broken and crate trained. I'm just waiting for that special someone to recognize me for the gem that I have become.

Adoption application on website requests information regarding living environment, care of pet, etc. Fee is $150 and provides discounts for adopting more than one or adopting animals with special needs.
